On Saturday 21 October, Gujarati School will be hosting Garba for students at school and for members of GCSM whose children are under 10 years old. Parents are requested to extend this invitation to anyone they know in the GCSM community.

This program will take place in the Gymnasium from 10:00 am to Noon, students and those participating from outside in the event can invite their Parents and Grandparents only.
RSVP stating the number of adults (max 4) and children participating (specify age) attending to Jayanti Mistry jagjivanmistry1950@gmail.com by 14 October.
We plan to give a prepackaged loot bag to all the children who will be participating and those who can’t due to age restrictions, for Grade 5 to Credit Class.
Any parents who wish to donate to this event can make a cash donation to Jayanti Mistry (PreBalmandir) teacher on Saturday 14 October. The reason for the cash donation is for us to purchase and package the same stuff for every child. A donation receipt will not be issued for this event. The extra funds left will be used for students for the Diwali function.
This is the first time at Gujarati School that we are hosting Garba for toddlers aged 2 to 9. This is because parents, due to the late-night timing of the GCSM venue, couldn't attend with their young ones. As a result, children are missing out on experiencing our culture at a young age. At Gujarati School, we are committed to preserving our language and culture, and we need your support to achieve this.
